In addition, they will be responsible for answering or referring inquiries; directing visitors and securing building by following The Village policies and procedures on afternoon and night shifts.Responsibilities Answers facility and front desk phone in a timely manner relaying messages to proper personnel.Monitors Sara system, answers calls promptly and assists residents with their needs.Secures building, checks all doors and windows on ground level in public areas per procedure.Carries cell phone and two-way radio when not at front desk.Patrols facility on regular route.Familiar with all water, gas and electrical shut offs per emergency procedures.Handles emergencies in a calm and direct manner. Knows all emergency procedures and policies.Greets visitors entering facility.Performs housekeeping duties assigned per shift and as time permits.Provides equipment and keys to next shift before going off duty.Cleans walkways of ice and snow.Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the philosophy of person centered care (PCC) by actively participating in the person centered care process. Fosters development and enhancement of person centered care practices.Requirements High School education or equivalent preferred.Training or background in hotel reception/security and first aid a plus.Possess the ability to comprehend written and oral instructions. Able to communicate accurately in writing and verbally.Qualifications (Physical) Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50-75 lbs. independently and over 75 pounds with assistance.Possess the ability to bend, stoop and reach at different angles.Walks, sits and stands intermittently during the day.Well-lighted, well-ventilated buildings and grounds.Must communicate with residents, families and public on a personal basis.#J-18808-Ljbffr
