divh2Surveillance Officer/h2pSurveillance Officers are responsible for understanding and responding to internal property needs. They communicate in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner. Surveillance Officers work to ensure the safety of our guests, employees, and vendors, while ensuring assets of the property and its occupants are secure./pp Use a CCTV system to monitor and review activity throughout the casino property/pp Work with employees within the department as well as other departments to investigate incidents/pp Complete typed reports/logs and preserve video as evidence/pp Maintain surveillance on all casino operations for errors, theft, fraud and regulatory violations/pp Respond to casino activity and utilize necessary equipment to identify, record and document illegal and unusual activities occurring on the property/pp Work with law enforcement agencies to review and investigate crimes, and may represent the casino in litigation as required/pp Identify and/or review incidents such as departmental violations, risk management concerns, monetary variances and player disputes/pp Monitor various systems for malfunctions and report/document them as needed/pp High School Diploma or equivalent/pp Must be 21 years of age or older/pp High degree of professional and personal integrity/ethics/pp Must have basic computer and arithmetic skills/pp Must be able to obtain/maintain a gaming license through the MLGCA/pp Able to work day, evening or overnight shifts, including holidays and weekends/pp Able to speak, read and understand English/pp Able to complete an on-the-job 90-day training program, with various tests and assessments/pp Has had Surveillance employment or equivalent investigation/gaming/casino experience/pp Has excellent interpersonal and verbal/written skills/pp Has knowledge of casino table games, cheat tactics, and cash handling scams/pp Is able to understand and adapt to changing departmental/property/regulatory policies regulations/pp Is able to work independently and proactively when work is not assigned/pp Is naturally curious and enjoys investigating freely/pp Able to be alert in a high-risk environment; follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitor gauges, instruments, or processes; concentrate on routine work details and organize and maintain a system of records/pp Able to respond calmly in crisis and mentally stressful situations, and can make rational decisions/pp Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds/pp Able to respond to audible and visual cues and alarms/pp Able to sit for extended periods of time/pp Able to control a joystick and inputs on keypads/pp Able to speak clearly and comfortably on a phone and/or handheld radio/pp Must have good personal hygiene and a professional appearance/pp$21.00 per hour/pp40 hour scheduled work week, with consecutive days off, generally static/ppOvertime opportunities available, when necessary, typically first come first serve/ppBi-weekly pay dates/ppPTO, 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Disability Insurance, Holiday Pay/ph2Job Info/h2ulliJob Identification 84160/liliJob Category Security and Surveillance/liliJob Schedule Full time/liliLocations Horseshoe Baltimore/li/ul/div
