About Us Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. Location Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campusis located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.
Job Summary Albany State University is seeking motivated high school students to participate in the Mayor's 100 Summer Youth Program in partnership with the City of Albany. This program provides students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop professional skills, and explore career interests while working in a university environment. Students will be assigned to various departments across the University and will assist with daily operations, customer service, office support, event preparation, and other departmental projects.

Responsibilities - Assist the assigned departments with daily work or operational tasks.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Support departmental events, projects, and activities.
- Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, organizing materials, data entry, copying, and answering the phones.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude in the workplace.
- Follow all University policies, procedures, and workplace expectations.
- Participate in the workplace readiness and professional development activities as assigned.
- Complete additional duties assigned by the department supervisor.
Required Qualifications - Must currently attend a high school within Dougherty County.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
- Reliable transportation to and from campus.
- Willingness to learn and maintain a professional attitude.
Proposed Salary Salary is $12.00 per hour.
