Summary
Job Duties
You will provide preflight, in-flight, and post-flight assistance to aircraft.
You will issue control instructions to provide separation and ensure the orderly and expeditious movement of live aircraft departing, landing, approaching for landing or flying within and between terminal areas.
You will furnish information to pilots on a continuous basis, concerning clearances to operate aircraft, weather and field conditions and pertinent operating and procedural instructions.
You will evaluate air and ground operations and activities to ensure all activity at and around the airfield is conducted in the safest possible manner.
You will conduct on-the-job training apprentice trainee, and development for controllers in live and simulated air traffic situations.
