    The appropriate candidate must possess an ACT 235 and be able to pass a Public Trust Background Check.

    Compensation and Anticipated Hours

    • $25.00/hourly
    • 1st Shift 7:45am-4:15p (42.5 hours)

    Job Summary

    In this role Physical Security Officers (PSO's) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO's may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. Additionally, PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.

    Job Duties / Essential Functions

    • Delivering high end customer service
    • Responding to emergencies
    • Deterring and preventing crime
    • Performing ingress/ egress control procedures
    • Investigating incidents
    • Completing daily logs and incident reports
    • Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
    • Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers
    • De-escalating conflicts
    • Monitoring CCTV cameras
    • Performing other related duties as assigned

    Skills / Qualifications

    • ACT 235 (current)
    • 21 years of age
    • Current and valid DL
    • High school diploma or GED
    • (2) years of armed security experience required
    • Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test and Armed Security Officer course
    • Must be able to pass drug screen
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient time management skills
    • Reliable transportation
    • Excellent de-escalation skills
    • Proficient firearms skills
    • Extensive use of force knowledge
    • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements

    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

    • Ability to work under stress / pressure
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds
    • Ability to wear a uniform
    • Ability to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT)
