    As a Safety and Security Advisor at the Philadelphia Job Corps Center you will play a key role in maintaining campus safety, supervising student behavior, and ensuring accountability across the center.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Follow all integrity guidelines and ensure accurate, ethical handling of student data
    • Maintain a safe and secure environment through routine monitoring and security presence
    • Conduct safety inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards
    • Investigate accidents and incidents, complete reports, and recommend corrective actions
    • Enforce safety regulations and respond promptly to emergencies
    • Monitor student activity, accountability, and behavior across campus
    • Manage visitor control and overall center security operations
    • Conduct routine security tours and assist with dorm inspections and contraband searches as needed
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety of center facilities and property
    • Provide support across residential, recreation, and transportation areas as needed
    • Supervise and mentor students, modeling appropriate behavior and enforcing standards
    • Collaborate with staff across departments to ensure effective student supervision and services
    • Communicate clearly in reports and with team members; contribute to problem-solving and decision-making
    • Plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid in-state Driver's License with ability to meet company insurability requirements

    Preferred:

    • Experience in Job Corps or a similar youth development program
    • Advanced education or specialized training

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and move throughout the facility regularly
    • Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 40 pounds (or recognizing when assistance is needed)
    • Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, and crouching
