SDA, recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, delivers space‑based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through the development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Defense Travel Administrator to support SDA's mission.ResponsibilitiesProvide travel administration support for the Defense Travel System (DTS), including walking users through document processing steps and providing basic troubleshooting assistance.Provide training for DTS users and operators, review DTS transactions, enroll new users in local databases, register profiles, and ensure users are aware of processing procedures and requirements.Provide guidance regarding business rules and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) compliance issues.Coordinate travel requirements to include local, CONUS, and international destinations.Support changes to travel and assist in any required pre‑travel clearance and approvals in a timely manner.Assist travelers as needed during travel.Advise and assist customers in managing Government Travel Cards.Prepare authorizations and vouchers (local and non‑local) and assist travelers in meeting all prerequisites for travel within the United States and internationally.Required Qualifications5+ Years of DTS experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.SECRET Clearance.Strong communication skills to effectively interface with senior military/civilian officials, managers, and customers.Preferred QualificationsTS/SCI eligibility.Accessibility & AccommodationsIf because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us at (540) 658‑2720.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementQinetiQ US is an Equal Opportunity employer.
