    Commission Correctional Police Officer is responsible for:

    • Ensuring the custody, safety, well-being and care of youth committed to
      the agency by the courts.
    • Assisting in the rehabilitative and educational efforts designed to help
      youth in custody grow, thrive, and become independent, productive, and
      law-abiding citizens.
    • Upholding and promoting the YJC's core values of Integrity, Commitment,
      Leadership, Diversity, Inclusion, and Compassion.

    Police Training Commission (Physical Pre-Assessment Requirements)

    • Vertical jump of 12.5 inches or more

    • 1.5 mile run in 19 minutes or less.
