Under direct supervision, participates in formal and on-the-job training programs to achieve and maintain Maryland Police Training Commission and institutional requirements. Patrols areas of Salisbury University, preventing and detecting the commission of crimes, directing traffic, and enforcing state and local laws. Performs other related duties as prescribed in the job classification of a UPO II. Candidates must be currently certified police officers and must meet all minimum qualifications required for the UPO I position.
This position reports directly to a shift sergeant and has no supervisory responsibilities.
