    Position: Security Officer

    Security Officer to work different shifts guaranteed 24 to 32 hours a week. This position is for a gate officer and or patrol officer in a private community one guaranteed shift on Saturdays 4:30 am to 1:00 pm.

    Location: Tequesta, FL

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Security Officer at Cambridge Security Services, your role will encompass:

    - Conducting armed foot and/or vehicle patrols, both indoors and outdoors.

    - Controlling access and egress points to maintain a secure environment.

    - Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.

    - Documenting incidents and preparing detailed reports.

    - Deterring criminal activity and misconduct.

    - Fulfilling other duties as outlined in post orders.

    Qualifications:

    To be an ideal candidate for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent.

    - A current D security officer license issued by the State of Florida, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

    - Successful completion of a mental health assessment.

    Skills and Attributes:

    We're looking for individuals who possess:

    - Effective oral and written communication skills.

    - Active listening skills.

    - Strong situational assessment abilities.

    - Attention to detail.

    - The ability to interact cordially and professionally with the public.

    Additional Requirements:

    - Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher.

    - Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.

    - Flexibility to work various schedules.

    - Access to reliable transportation.

    - Ability to successfully complete all required training.

    - Proficiency in operating radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.

    - Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.

    - If prior military, the ability to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated.
