    Intel Trainer Sr Adv (TS/SCI with Poly Required)

    At GCI, we solve the hard problems. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional development officer to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for delivering, teaching, and facilitating courses to meet all course and customer learning objectives. Technical Targeting Instructors (TTI) monitor student progress during course delivery and provide feedback to the customer. TTIs support development of new, or modification of existing courses in coordination with Technical Instructional Systems Designers, as approved by the customer. TTIs often serve as Subject Matter Experts using professional and technical experiences to engage and teach adult learners. The work will include:

    • Creating lesson plans, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs
    • Instructing intelligence professionals on tradecraft and leadership
    • Developing and/or refining curricula to meet evolving customer training needs, establishing course content and objectives
    • Enhancing student competencies in course- specific technical intelligence disciplines
    • Evaluating student performance and making recommendations for improvement
    • Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas

    Required Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience delivering content for adult learners
    • Demonstrated experience tailoring communications and facilitating discussions among small and large groups of people with diverse backgrounds
    • Demonstrated experience adopting new technologies for knowledge management and/or tailoring of technology to support learning needs
    • Demonstrated ability as a self-starter, to team effectively, regularly work outside your comfort zone, and to adapt to emerging technologies and evolving requirements
    • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment and partnering across customer offices and mission centers/directorates
    • Demonstrated experience performing technical targeting and/or technical analysis or intelligence analysis using IC data to support customer technical collection and/or technical operations
    • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging a variety of data collections to perform call chaining analysis, analyze travel data, identify pattern of life information, or data analysis to address intelligence gaps
    • Experience writing technical targeting or analytic cables using customer tools
    • 5 or more years of experience with customer as a staff employee or contractor, supporting mission in any of the following areas: Targeting, Technical Research, Development and Engineering, Technical Operations, Technical Analysis, Technical Programs and Policy, or intelligence analysis
    • 5 or more years of experience providing training with the customer

    Desired Qualifications

    • Certificate in Training, Facilitation, Teaching, and/or Learning from a professional organization (e.g. Foundations in Teaching and Learning offered by Udemy)
    • Extensive experience with the customer support multiple missions
    • Experience with the customer supporting more than one area of technical expertise (Targeting, Technical Operations, or Technical Research, Development or Engineering)
    • Advanced degree in Science, Engineering or Education
    • Adult learning experience teaching technical courses using a broad range of delivery modalities (synchronous, asynchronous, instructor led, web-based training, virtual training and/or blended courses)
    • Experience in technical targeting in more than one customer line of business
    • Familiarity with geospatial and imagery tools and related IC capabilities
    • Working knowledge of customer and Technical Targeting Analyst role and enabling technical operations and engineering developments through the delivery of related intelligence
