    General Summary:

    As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our facility from theft, vandalism, and other potential threats. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting foot patrols, opening and closing the site, monitoring live camera footage, and managing day-to-day loss prevention operations.

    Customer Experience & Business Performance Focus: The role of a Loss Prevention Associate indirectly focuses on enhancing customer experience by ensuring the safety and security of the manufacturing and distribution site, providing peace of mind to customers and visitors, and contributing to operational efficiency. Moreover, it directly contributes to business performance by reducing costs associated with shrinkage and losses, thus optimizing resource allocation, and promoting a more efficient and reliable operation, which ultimately benefits the company's bottom line.

    As a Loss Prevention Associate, The Operational Excellence Focus for this position centers on improving efficiency and effectiveness in loss prevention processes. It involves data analysis, resource management, training, compliance, and continuous improvement to streamline security operations and protect assets while ensuring a safe environment. Collaboration with other departments and preparedness for emergencies are also key components of this focus.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Foot Patrol:

    - Conduct regular foot patrols of the manufacturing and distribution site to deter theft and unauthorized access.

    - Identify and address any security vulnerabilities or safety hazards.

    2. Site Opening and Closing:

    - Ensure the secure opening and closing of the facility at designated times.

    - Verify that all entry and exit points are properly secured.

    3. Camera Surveillance:

    - Monitor live camera footage to observe all site activity.

    - Respond promptly to any suspicious behavior or security breaches.

    - Collaborate with law enforcement as needed.

    4. Access Control:

    - Enforce access control procedures, including verifying the identity of employees, visitors, and vendors.

    - Maintain a record of individuals entering and exiting the facility.

    5. Incident Reporting:

    - Document all security incidents, accidents, and safety violations.

    - Prepare detailed reports for management and law enforcement, if necessary.

    6. Team Collaboration:

    - Work closely with other members of the loss prevention team to ensure a coordinated approach to security.

    - Collaborate with management and HR on employee-related security matters.

    7. Training and Awareness:

    - Assist in training employees on security protocols and best practices.

    - Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent; additional security-related training or certifications are a plus.

    - Proven experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
