    Job Summary
    We are seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to provide static security services at Brimstone Energy in Oakland, California. Security Officers are responsible for conducting patrols, performing QR code scans, managing visitors, monitoring parking areas, escorting employees and visitors, documenting daily activities, and serving as first responders during emergencies. The ideal candidate is alert, customer-service oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

    Responsibilities
    Conduct scheduled patrols of all assigned areas, including Buildings 1707, 1715, and 1731.
    Perform required QR code scans at designated checkpoints throughout the property.
    Monitor building entrances, roll-up doors, gates, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
    Observe and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, vandalism, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.
    Verify visitors against the authorized visitor list and follow visitor management procedures.
    Escort visitors and employees as required.
    Monitor employee parking areas and document vehicle information when necessary.
    Maintain security logs and visitor records accurately.
    Use Time Stamp applications to document patrols, inspections, and site conditions.
    Send detailed observations, photos, and activity updates through company communication platforms.
    Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports with accurate and detailed information.
    Maintain communication with Dispatch, Management, and fellow Security Officers.
    Monitor emergency exit gates and ensure all access points remain secured.
    Conduct opening and closing security inspections of the property.
    Assist emergency responders by providing site access and directions during emergencies.
    Follow all emergency response procedures including fire, medical, and law enforcement incidents.
    Ensure all assigned equipment remains operational and properly maintained.

    Qualifications
    Previous security experience preferred.
    Valid guard card or security licensing as required by state regulations.
    Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to prepare accurate reports and incident documentation.
    Professional appearance and customer service skills.
    Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Basic smartphone, mobile application, and radio communication proficiency.
    Ability to respond effectively during emergencies.

    Schedule
    Security Officer 1
    Monday through Friday
    7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Work Environment
    Indoor and outdoor patrol responsibilities
    Multiple-building property coverage
    Frequent walking and standing required
    Direct interaction with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders
