Job Title: Ground Support Ops (Part 107)
Job Description:- Perform aircraft inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities during Client duty shifts
- Perform routine aircraft standard practices (as defined in company UAS Maintenance Manual) during Client duty shifts
- Perform nest equipment inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities during Client duty shifts
- Replace company provided nest equipment as required during Client duty shifts
- Participate in Crew Briefs
- Maintain communications with the company's Pilot-in-Command using company provided equipment during duty shifts
- Visually monitor airspace to detect non-company aircraft during VO duty shifts
- Monitor air-traffic displays provided by company to detect non-company aircraft during VO duty shifts
- Monitor for hazardous weather conditions in the operating area during VO duty shifts
- Detect visible obstacles or other hazards to flight during VO duty shifts
- Verify location and height of detected obstacles as requested during Ground Support duty shifts
- Operate company provided light vehicle (van) for movement between various company operating locations, move aircraft between sites, and recover company aircraft
- Recover company aircraft that have landed outside the nest area during Ground Support duty shifts
- Must be able to work outdoors, conditions can vary
- Must be willing to help out in other departments when needed
Requirements:- Possess a current driver's license.
- Possess a valid 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Does not need to be current, but must not have been suspended or revoked)
- Successfully complete required company provided training for Ground Support and Visual Observer roles for company's Part 135 Operations
- Participate in periodic company provided training to maintain relevant skills and knowledge
- Participate in Vendor's FAA drug and alcohol screening program.
Contract duration: 1 year
