GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Park Headquarters Manager, this position performs entry-level to routine customer service work and is responsible for providing clerical support for Inks Lake State Park. Provides customer service and information to the public in person, on the telephone and in writing. Responsible for revenue collection, accounting for daily revenue and ancillary product sales. Operates credit card machine, customer registration and computer. Prepares reports and processes correspondence. Performs general cleaning of the Park Headquarters. Works under close to moderate supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division, and Branch rules, regulations and procedures.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from High School or GED.
Experience: One year experience in general clerical, cash handling or customer service.
Licensure: Must possess or be able to obtain, within 30 days of employment, a valid class "C" Texas driver's license.
NOTE: Retention of position contingent upon obtaining and maintaining required license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Two years experience in fee collection.
Two years experience in customer service.
Two years experience in computer registration.
