    Find your calling at Mercy!The Building Blocks (BB)/Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a grant funded program responsible for providing comprehensive home visits to eligible first time, economically disadvantaged, mothers and their families. Nurses are responsible for maintaining the highest standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to the NFP model, and to policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards of NFP, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.Position Details:

    Location

    Mercy Southeast - Building Blocks

    650 S. MT Auburn

    Cape Girardeau, MO 63701

    Hours/Schedule

    Full-Time (40-hrs per week)

    Shift: Days

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Education: Graduate from a professional nursing program. Current RN license within state of practice.
    License: Valid driver‘s license and unlimited access to a reliable automobile with appropriate insurance, as required by law. Class E Chauffeur‘s license required if driving a hospital vehicle.
    Experience: 2 years of prior nursing experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.

    • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

    • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Education: Either an AA or BSN prepared.

    Experience: Two years‘ experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting or mental/behavioral nursing.
