    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add an Ophthalmologistto our clinic in Folsom.

    Opportunity Highlights

    • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases.
    • Perform surgical procedures, such as Cataract surgery, Femtosecond laser for cataract surgery, Pterygium, MIGS, lasers for iridotomies, capsulotomies, and SLT.
    • Prescribe and manage appropriate medications and treatments for patients.
    • Provide expert advice and counseling to patients regarding their eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists and primary care physicians, for coordinated patient care.
    • Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in relevant continuing education activities.

    • Competitive two-year guarantee salary: $414K - $438K DOE; Partnership Track potential.

    Job Requirements
    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
    • Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
    • Active medical license to practice in the state of California.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
    • Dedication to providing high-quality patient care with a focus on compassion and empathy.
    • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
    • Willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
