    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by expanding our team. We have an opportunity for a 1.0FTE Cardiologist at our Bonney Lake and Enumclaw locations.

    This Cardiologist will be part of the Franciscan Medical Group multi-specialty practice serving the greater South Puget Sound region of Washington State.

    Opportunity Highlights:

    • Center for Cardiovascular Health: The Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists, among other specialists. Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high volume program performing over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs and 2000 ablations annually. We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and provide inpatient services for our healthcare system that includes over 1500 beds and 8 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.
    • Position Details: This physician will be one of two Cardiologists at our Bonney Lake location three days per week with coverage at our Enumclaw location one day per week.
    • Team based approach: Our team focuses on providing appropriate, compassionate, and state-of-the art medical care for our patients. Our clinicians comprise a dedicated and collaborative team that support each other and work together to create a positive work environment.
    • Schedule: Four days per week. Weekday call shared amongst 10 cardiologists. No weekend call.
    • Learning opportunities: We support opportunities for continuing medical education and professional growth.

    • Compensation Range: $497,000 - $630,000/year

    Job Requirements
    • BC/BE; American Board of Cardiology.
    • 2+ years experience in cardiology preferred.
    • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
    • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority required for the specific practice.
