    About the Role/Unit:

    As a Registered Nurse with the Mother/Baby unit at Sinai Hospital, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to postpartum mothers and newborns, while supporting family bonding and maternal health equity. You will care for couplets as well as patients experiencing pregnancy complications, postpartum readmissions, and GYN post-operative recovery.

    *This is a PRN position that will be scheduled for 12-hour Night shifts as needed. *

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive nursing care for mother-baby couplets
    • Monitor and manage maternal and newborn conditions, including postpartum complications and exclusive breastfeeding support.
    • Educate and support patients and families during the postpartum period to promote safe recovery and bonding.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Associate’s in Nursing required; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred
    • Licensure: Maryland Registered Nurse License
    • Certification: American Heart Association BLS Certification. NRP must be obtained prior to orientation completion.
    • Experience: At least 1 year of M/B hospital experience required
