    Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse McAlester, OK Are you a dedicated nursing professional seeking an opportunity to make a vital impact in a fast-paced, critically important environment? McAlester Regional Health Center invites compassionate and skilled ICU nurses to join our dynamic team to provide exceptional care to our most vulnerable patients. About the Role: As an ICU Nurse at McAlester Regional Health Center, you will deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and cardiac care to patients experiencing critical health issues. You will work closely with our skilled monitoring technicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring patients cardiovascular status and responding promptly to emergency situations. Key Responsibilities: Provide intensive, high-quality care to medically unstable patients in the ICU setting. Continuously monitor patients vital signs and cardiac status using Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other advanced equipment. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans. Assist in the calibration and management of cardiac monitoring devices. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices for critical care. Qualifications and Requirements: Valid RN license recognized in the State of Oklahoma. Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is now required for ICU staff. Prior experience in ICU or critical care nursing highly preferred. Knowledge of Meditech EMR system. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and handle multiple priorities. Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency are a plus.
