Services include assessments, consultations, outpatient and field-based treatment, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and ongoing psychiatric care.Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe/monitor/renew medications, and ensure continuity of careProvide psychiatric services to children and adolescents in the child welfare system, including field visits when neededParticipate in multi-disciplinary treatment teams and collaborate on client care issuesProvide consultation to DCFS/DHS staff and attend Child & Family Team meetingsScreen for health concerns and refer to physical health providers as appropriateDeliver crisis intervention and supportive counseling as necessaryPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency with computer systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective time management and organizational abilitiesAbility to work independently with strong attention to detailCommitment to community-based care and collaboration with diverse populations
