A not-for-profit academic health system is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join their growing cancer program in western West Virginia. Highlights: Full-time, hospital employed position Large multi-disciplinary practice group Cancer program offers NCI-sponsored protocols as well as some industry-supported trials There are plans to update the gynecologic oncology brachytherapy equipment and start a radioisotope program shortly Multidisciplinary tumor boards in gastroenterology, sarcoma, breast cancer, lung cancer, and gynecologic oncology The Brainlab program is used for stereotactic treatment of the brain and spine, and the Varian TrueBeamis used for our other stereotactic treatments There is an active high-dose-rate brachytherapy program State-of-the-art clinic Resident population of approximately 50,000+ Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training Compensation/Benefits: Attractive salary Productivity bonus opportunity Starting bonus offered Paid Vacation CME allowance Relocation assistance Paid malpractice Comprehensive benefit package Community: This riverside community offers an appealing mix of small-city affordability and cultural energy, anchored by a major university that brings arts, athletics, and a youthful vibrancy to the area.
