    Position Overview: A highly regarded health care facility is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist for a full-time, permanent opportunity near Brinnon, Washington. Located in the scenic Puget Sound region, this hospital-based practice serves communities across western Washington, offering diverse services in a comprehensive medical setting.

    Key Details:

    • Position Status: Open Permanent, Full-Time
    • Specialty: Interventional Radiology
    • Location: Near Brinnon, WA
    • Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
    • On-Call Requirements:
      • Monday-Friday: 5:00 pm 8:00 am
      • 24-hour on-call rotation for Saturday and Sunday
      • Weekly call rotation; typically covers entire week if scheduled
    • Patient Volume: Average of 8-11 cases per day, including a high volume of procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
    • Team Composition: Collaborate with 2 local IR physicians and an extensive support team; access to teleradiology services
    • Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000

    Role Requirements:

    • Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (AOBR or ABR) Required
    • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology Required
    • Washington state license, or willingness to obtain it promptly Preferred
    • ACLS certification or willingness to obtain Required
    • Clean malpractice/license history Highly Preferred
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (J1 or H1B visa candidates may apply)

    Clinical Responsibilities:

    • Perform and oversee procedures including:
      • Angiography, CT and Ultrasound procedures
      • Angioplasty and Stent Placement
      • Chemoembolization, Embolization
      • Aortic Aneurysm Endograft Stent, Needle Biopsy
      • Thrombolysis, Kyphoplasty
    • Primary patient demographics include adults, including both geriatric and adolescent populations
    • Facility utilizes EPIC as the EMR system
