You will be responsible for overseeing admissions, with an average of 1-2 admissions per day . Support and Resources : The emergency team is supported by 2 Registered Nurses (RNs) and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) , ensuring you have the necessary help to provide top-quality care. The facility uses Meditech as the electronic medical records (EMR) system, streamlining documentation and patient tracking. Certifications Required : ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) or CALS (Comprehensive Advanced Life Support) with Trauma component DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration Ideal Candidate: Board Certification : The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or a related field, ensuring a high level of expertise in handling emergency situations. Licensure : A valid Minnesota state license is required to practice. Experience : Experience in a busy emergency department is preferred, with the ability to manage a variety of cases effectively.
