    Location: Good Sam Hospital OB/GYN Center, 375 Dixmyth Ave Cincinnati, OH 45220

    Schedule: Full Time, Rotates Weekends, On Call

    Job Overview:

    Provide nurse-midwifery care to a caseload of clients within TriHealth. Maintain competence in providing healthcare services to clients of all ages and/or developmental levels. Comply with a Standard Care Agreement with a physician for practice and prescriptive authority. Sustain staff privileges according to rules and regulation of TriHealth. Utilize expertise for consultation, education and research.

    Job Requirements:

    Master's Degree in Nursing
    Major in Nurse Midwifery
    Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives
    Registered Nurse with CNM Licensure
    Critical decision making ability
    Skilled in teamwork with multiple disciplines
    Professional membership in nursing specialty organization required
    New Grads Welcome. 1-2 years experience full scope nurse-midwifery practice preferred

    Job Responsibilities:

    Serves as an educator for personnel, clients, families, students and communities.
    Serves as a role model of professional nurse-midwifery conduct and practice.
    Participates effectively in the problem solving, consultation and case management of patient care.
    Maintains and updates current clinical skills
    Establishes positive relationships with staff, colleagues, patients, families and other health care providers.
