Charge Nurse - Med Surg Urology
Full-Time Day and Night Shift Opportunities - TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital - $5k Sign-On Bonus!

10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242
Work Schedule:- Full-time Day and Night positions available - (72 hours bi-weekly)
- 6:30 am - 7:00 pm & 6:30 pm - 7:00 am
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- Holiday rotation

Job Requirements:- Certification within specialty area within two years of assuming position.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) ACLS/PALS may be required but is dependent on unit or department
- ECG interpretation competency and ACLS certification within 12 months of assuming role. Maintains ECG competency and ACLS certification while in role.
- Registered Nurse licensure
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
- Minimum of 2-3 years Clinical in Nursing experience
- Previous charge or lead experience strongly preferred
- Coordinates daily patient care with the healthcare team and acts as a resource for standards, policies, and clinical procedures.
- Identifies patient care issues and supports instructors, students, and staff by aligning assignments with patient needs and team competencies.
- Participates in unit committees, quality improvement initiatives, and the implementation of evidence based best practices.
- Performs and directs specialty specific nursing skills, executes physician orders accurately, and delegates tasks appropriately to ensure safe patient care.
- Supports department operations, orients temporary or float staff, and facilitates efficient patient flow through the system.
- Demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, and accountability while fostering collaborative relationships with physicians and team members.
- Promotes staff development through mentoring, continuing education, performance feedback, and serving as a professional role model.
