    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    Dignity Health Medical Group Arizona is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Gastroenterology Physician Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

    Responsibilities

    • See patients in the outpatient clinic full-time, Monday–Friday

    • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to gastroenterology patients under the supervision and responsibility of a physician

    • Participate in education, development, and growth of the DHMG Gastroenterology Division

    • Work closely with the administrative and clinical directors for the GI Service Program to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in the provision of clinical services

    Qualifications

    PA Requirements:

    • Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)

    • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program

    • Demonstrated experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specifically within gastroenterology, including but not limited to managing common GI conditions, performing focused physical exams, and ordering/interpreting relevant diagnostics

    • Must hold and maintain:

      • AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants license

      • NCCPA – National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants certification

    • Valid DEA registration

    • Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff

Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. Physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty, and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.     $57.41 – $68.87/hour
