Night shifts are from 7 pm to 7 am, on-call with potential call-back for admissions. Specific coverage is required on public holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Patient Load: The Hospitalist will manage an average of 15 patients per shift. The facility has 23 beds dedicated to the department. Rounding on both assigned and unassigned patients is required. Additional Information: Support and Environment: The hospital is certified as a stroke center, ensuring a high standard of care for patients with neurological conditions. The Hospitalist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care. Experience with MediTech EMR: Familiarity with the MediTech EMR system is preferred to ensure smooth integration and efficient workflow. Holidays and Special Considerations: The role requires coverage during specific holidays, ensuring that patient care is continuous and uninterrupted.
