We are seeking a board-certified physician specializing in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in the heart of Missouri. This assignment offers the chance to work in a well-supported facility with both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing high-quality cardiac electrophysiology care to the community. Position Overview: Specialty : Internal Medicine - Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Type : Locum Tenens Start Date : ASAP Duration : Ongoing Coverage : Scheduled clinical hours with additional call responsibilities Setting : Both inpatient and outpatient work required EMR System : Epic Call Ratio : 1:3 (in-house) Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level electrophysiology care, including patient consultations and follow-up Manage and perform relevant cardiac procedures as required Admissions and rounding responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings Temporary hospital privileges available, with estimated credentialing time around 30 days Requirements: Licensure : Active Missouri medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Board Certification : Required in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Certifications : ACLS and BLS required Supervision : May involve oversight of advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs) Support Staff : Includes 1 RN, 1 Medical Assistant, and office support staff Additional Details: Trauma Level : Level 1 trauma support Holidays Observed : Coverage required on major holidays if scheduled, including New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, and Christmas Flexible Scheduling : Facility open to multiple providers to support coverage needs Travel and Lodging : Recommendations for accommodations and airport details available upon request Benefits: Malpractice insurance coverage provided by the hiring vendor Competitive hourly compensation for locum tenens physicians Opportunity to expand experience in a comprehensive care setting Why Choose This Opportunity?
