    Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an exciting 60-day assignment starting May 25, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday schedule from 8am-5pm, focusing on seeing 3 patients per hour, maintaining timely charting, and managing walk-ins. The Physician will handle a diverse range of cases including cold, cough, flu, diabetes, hypertension, and a strong emphasis on women's health services such as IUD insertion and removal, PAP smears, and Nexplanon procedures, alongside well child check-ups. Responsibilities and Duties See 3 patients per hour Ensure timely charting of patient encounters Manage walk-in patient flow Provide comprehensive care for common ailments including cold, cough, and flu Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension Perform women's health procedures including IUD insertion and removal Conduct PAP smears and Nexplanon insertions Perform well child check-ups Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) EMR: Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
