Bridge a Coverage Gap at a Level 1 Trauma Center: Long-Term Need: Help fill an ongoing vacancy within a Level 1 Trauma Center, ensuring exceptional care for a diverse patient population. Advanced Resources: Benefit from access to a full array of specialty backup services, including 24-hour MRI/CT availability, a dedicated STEMI team, stroke team, and ED psychiatric services. Supportive Environment and Streamlined Workflow: Manageable Patient Load: See approximately 15 patients per shift, allowing you to provide personalized care in a fast-paced setting. Collaborative Team: Work alongside skilled and experienced APP support staff in triage, fostering a collaborative environment. Advanced Technology: Utilize the Epic electronic medical record system for efficient documentation and communication. Comprehensive Support: Enjoy the support of a 70-bed emergency department with an 11-bed dedicated pediatric unit. Qualifications and Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board- certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). Family Medicine board certification with ED fellowship or experience is not accepted due to Level 1 Trauma Center requirements. Missouri Licensure: Maintain a current Missouri medical license. Essential Certifications: Hold current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and BLS.
