Locum Tenens Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology Physician Near Glidden, WI We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position near Glidden, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology to provide both inpatient and outpatient care in a supportive and well-equipped environment. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis. Position Overview: Profession : Physician Specialty : Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing Practice Setting : Both inpatient and outpatient care required EMR System : Cerner Job Responsibilities: Coverage Type : Scheduled clinical hours plus call Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM One weekend of call per month, primarily phone calls from Friday night through Monday morning Patient Load : 15-20 patients per shift Practice Details : Typical Hematology/Oncology practice Bone marrow biopsies are optional Equipment: Intellidose TxM Candidate Requirements: Board Certification : Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology Licensure : Active state license is required Temporary privileges are available Licensing costs will not be reimbursed Certifications : ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) required BLS (Basic Life Support) required Fellowship : Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology is required Credentialing : Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days Key Highlights: Comprehensive Care : The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, providing a holistic approach to patient management in Hematology and Oncology. Flexible Schedule : Monday through Friday work schedule with one weekend of call per month, primarily phone-based, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
