Diverse Caseload: Expand your experience by providing anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including total joint replacements, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics & gynecology, ENT, cardiovascular, spine, endoscopy, general surgery, podiatry, and pediatrics (ages 2 and above for elective procedures with ASA scores 1 or 2; emergency pediatrics from 10 and above). Supportive Work Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a collaborative setting. Utilize EPIC, the electronic medical records system used at the facility. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement safe and effective anesthesia plans for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. Administer various anesthetic medications and monitor patients throughout the surgical process, ensuring their well-being and safety. Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system. Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care as needed. Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and communication with all members of the surgical team. Qualifications for Success: Current national certification as a CRNA (CRNA) is mandatory. Valid and active registered nurse (RN) license and CRNA license in the state of Pennsylvania are required. We are not seeking willingness to relocate or obtain additional licensure at this time. Current certifications in ACLS, CPR, and PALS are mandatory. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA is required. Experience using EPIC, the electronic medical records system used at the facility, is required. Experience with a variety of anesthesia procedures, including pediatrics and spinals, is preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, surgeons, and staff. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.
