Cardiovascular Surgeon - Full-Time Opportunity (Midland, MI)Full-time Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon PositionLocation & Community Highlights: Located in Midland, Michigan, a family-friendly city of 50,000 residents Centrally positioned in Michigan s Lower Peninsula Less than two hours from Detroit and Lansing Recognized as one of the Top 15 Dreamtowns in the U.S. Offers a diverse mix of cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities Often referred to as the Ann Arbor of the North Position Details: Full-time Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon position 1:3 call schedule with Advanced Practice Provider (APP) as first call Join a well-established and highly successful cardiovascular program Team includes cardiologists (interventional, heart failure, EP), APPs, and robust support staff System-wide cardiovascular team includes 36 providers, with 28 based in Midland Practice performs approximately 450 surgeries annually Two locations with the main office on a medical campus in Midland Practice has served the region for over 13 years Offers a comprehensive range of services including Open Heart Surgery and TAVRCandidate Requirements: U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery Completion of a Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship with at least 5 years of experience Must hold or be eligible for:oUnrestricted Michigan medical licenseoControlled Substance LicenseReason for Recruitment: Adding two surgeons to meet growing demand and support a busy and expanding programMedical Center Privileges: Primary and secondary privileges at two regional medical centersCompensation & Benefits: Highly competitive compensation plan Full benefits package including:oCME allowanceoPaid time off (vacation, sick, CME, personal days)oHealth, dental, vision, life, and pharmacy coverageoShort-term and long-term disability insuranceoProfessional liability insurance with tail coverageoRelocation allowanceoRetirement plans: 403(b) with employer contribution and 457(b) tax-deferred options
