The University of Pittsburgh is pleased to offer a one-year fellowship in Women‘s Neurology beginning July 2026. This fellowship provides specialized training at the interface between neurological disorders and women‘s health across the lifespan. This fellowship can follow directly after neurology residency, or before or after fellowship training in any neurological subspecialty. Our fellows train with the top women‘s neurology experts in the field, including Women‘s Neurology Division Chief Dr. Eliza Miller (Vascular Neurology), Chair of Neurology Dr. Page Pennell (Epilepsy), and Dr. Angela O‘Neal, a national leader in Women‘s Neurology education and clinical care, who recently joined our division as Fellowship Director and Director of Women‘s Neurology Education. Fellows will work with multiple subspecialists with a dedicated interest in women‘s neurological health, and an integrated multidisciplinary practice setting in Magee-Womens Hospital, where over 10,000 deliveries occur annually. Elective time will be tailored to the fellow‘s clinical and research interests. Career development opportunities will be supported, and up to 50% protected time for research will be offered to qualified candidates wishing to pursue a clinical research track.
