Sr. CommVault Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Overview Marathon TS is looking for a Senior CommVault Engineer to support our Federal customer out of Washington, DC. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, implementing, testing, troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting backup and recovery technical solutions for a large scale federal government enterprise's environment.. The scope of this work shall include engineering (designing, developing, testing, & implementing) CommVault backup/recovery solutions. Additionally, the candidate will create system architecture, design, implementation, and operations documentation as well as provide Tier 3 level backup/recovery support of a large scale enterprise federal government enterprise supporting nearly 20,000 users. This is a Hybrid work schedule that currently has a requirement to be onsite two days per two-week pay period. Requirements * Active Public Trust (level 6) Required * Bachelor's in computer science, business, or other relevant discipline. Eight (8) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement * Possesses a strong knowledge of Commvault data protection application. * Experience having designed, developed, configured, integrated and secured complex backup, recovery and storage products over wide area network (WAN) in a multi-enterprise, complex, geographically dispersed solution, ranging from single servers to multi-tier, multi-platform solutions utilizing the Commvault enterprise backup solutions. * Experience in Creating and maintaining optimal backup, restore and redundancy solutions for critical data. Reviews, plans, and participates in executing regularly scheduled maintenances on the storage infrastructure. * Have troubleshot complex backup and recovery problems to include networking, application, hardware, and appliance related backup issues. * Have provided analytics, usage, capacity planning and reporting within the Commvault and Networker management and monitoring solution. * Experience Implementing regular security updates and patches to related backup application servers and appliances in accordance with Federal Information and Information Systems requirements. * Have worked with operation teams to develop and support enterprise infrastructure processes, tools, and environments to ensure a timely response to backup, restore, and data replication requests. * Experience with DISA STIGs and applying to Commvault related systems.
