You will provide direct support to Navy program leadership inside the Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems office. Surface ship and submarine torpedo defense systems are a key part of the work. A strong candidate will be highly proficient in consolidating inputs from multiple sources and program leadership into detailed, coherent products and documents used to inform senior Navy and DoD leaders as well as Congress.A candidate should have experience communicating and interfacing directlywith senior leaders; leading efforts and tracking and completing multiple tasks in parallel; working independently with little to no supervision; and providing objective, independent critical thinking.This position will allow you to make a major difference across many programs within the program office.Work location: Hybrid: Washington DC (amount will vary).Travel:Required Experience:Able to work effectively with little direction and supervision5-7 years of Navy experienceOperational or Engineering experience with naval systemsExcellent communication skillsSECRET ClearanceDesired Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline10+ years of relevant experienceExperience with undersea defensive systemsEligible for Top Secret ClearanceThe expected salary range for this position is $105,000–$155,000 . This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
