Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist
As a Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist at the GS-0080-14 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Supervising a team of personnel security specialists including evaluating performance, conducting interviews, and resolving complaints.
- Initiating and tracking pre-employment investigations of applicants and determining suitability and security clearance eligibility of the applicants and support personnel for entry into USMS contract positions.
- Advising and assisting USMS managers on background and suitability program matters.
- Develops short and long range plans for the management of human material resources to achieve program objectives.
- Attends meetings with and senior level officials within USMS, DOJ, and other federal agencies to inform and stay abreast of matters regarding personnel security.
