About the Position
Treston Security Services is hiring experienced Armed Nightlife Security Officers to work at a high-energy, LGBTQ-friendly nightlife venue in West Hollywood. This role requires officers who are confident, approachable, and skilled in de-escalation, crowd management, and access control. Officers must be comfortable working in fast-paced nightlife settings and interacting respectfully with diverse patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all patrons and staff
- Monitor entrances, exits, and crowd flow within the venue
- Check IDs to verify age and prevent underage entry
- Identify and professionally de-escalate conflicts or disruptive behavior
- Enforce venue rules and safety policies consistently and respectfully
- Respond quickly and calmly to incidents or emergencies
- Work closely with venue management and local law enforcement when necessary
- Complete brief incident reports as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)
- Valid Exposed Firearms Permit (Required)
- Prior nightlife, club, or bar security experience required
- Strong de-escalation and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy or tense situations
- Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful at all times
- Must be able to work weekends and late-night shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in crowded environments
