    Job Summary

    The Asset Protection Investigations Associate is responsible for the centralized monitoring, review, and documentation of Purchek activations and investigative requests to support store and field Asset Protection teams. This role focuses on identifying theft events, creating video evidence, maintaining consistent investigative standards, and providing insights that support shrink reduction strategies across all regions. The position works closely with Asset Protection leadership, store partners and Law Enforcement to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and visibility into theft-related activity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review and analyze Purchek activations flagged as possible pushouts to identify theft events
    • Confirm pushout incidents and initiate appropriate investigative workflows
    • Create and maintain case documentation, including video footage, images, and itemized merchandise lists based on established dollar thresholds
    • Escalate repeat offender activity with complete case documentation
    • Review and respond to law enforcement investigative requests by providing video evidence and support when applicable
    • Partner with the Purchek classification team to audit possible and unclassified events, ensuring accurate categorization
    • Manage Asset Protection user access within StorePort G2, including assignment and maintenance of permissions by region
    • Grant limited system access to store leaders as required for operational visibility
    • Develop and maintain Excel-based reports tracking confirmed pushouts, total activations, dollar value trends, and store-level performance
    • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and system effectiveness related to theft and shrink
    • Provide reporting and insights to Asset Protection leadership to support shrink reduction efforts
    • Maintain organized regional documentation files to ensure consistency, accessibility, and data integrity
    Qualifications
    • Experience in Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, investigations, or analytical support roles
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate video surveillance footage objectively
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
    • This job requires a minimum of 3 days being scheduled at our Carlisle Headquarters
