Armed Vehicle Patrol Officer

Blackwater Public Safety seeks a dedicated and professional Armed Vehicle Patrol Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-level security services, including patrolling designated areas in a company vehicle, ensuring the safety and security of the property and personnel, and responding to incidents as required.

Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour following completion of probationary period and department review Schedule: Night shifts only, 4 days on, 4 days off rotational schedule from 8 PM to 6 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vehicle patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and security breaches.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance and support as needed.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence while on duty.
• Enforce company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal laws.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card.
• Must have a valid Exposed Firearms Permit.
• Must have a clean driving record for 5 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
