Our client, a leader in logistics and transportation services, is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team. As a Dispatcher, you will be part of the Dispatch Operations supporting the logistics and delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Dispatcher
Location: Missouri City, TX
Pay Range: $17-18
What's the Job?
Coordinate daily dispatch activities, including assigning routes and scheduling drivers
Communicate delivery or service assignments clearly to drivers and field personnel
Monitor route progress and provide real-time support for delays or issues
Adjust schedules and dispatch plans as needed to maintain service levels
Track driver availability, route completion, and performance metrics
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or administrative support preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and dispatch/routing systems
