Join Our Team - Rover Security Officer (High-Profile Property)
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and highly motivated Rover Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious high-rise office property. This dynamic role is essential to maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for tenants, guests, and staff.
The Rover Officer is responsible for conducting patrols throughout the property-including parking areas, exterior perimeters, and interior spaces-while also providing relief coverage for on-site officers during breaks or absences. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to de-escalate situations while adhering to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular and thorough patrols of parking garages, exterior perimeters, and interior floors
- Monitor and control access to ensure only authorized individuals enter the property
- Provide coverage for officers during breaks, shift changes, or absences
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and service requests
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activities
- Communicate effectively with team members, property management, and building personnel
- Follow all site-specific procedures, post orders, and company policies
- Minimum of 1 year of professional security experience (commercial or high-rise preferred)
- Must reside within 20 miles of ZIP code 77079
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement (preferred but not required)
- Candidates must complete a required assessment to be considered
