    Access Gate Attendant

    PeopleReady of Lowell, MA is now hiring Access Gate Attendants in Boston, MA! We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to manage site access and maintain the surrounding landscape. This role is hands-on maintenance. You'll be the firstpoint of contact for incoming trucks and responsible for fire mitigation efforts along our public and private access roads.

    Pay Rate:

    The pay rate for this job is $18 - $22 / hour*

    What you'll be doing as a Access Gate Attendant :

    • Gate Monitoring: Monitor and log trucks entering and exiting the premises

    • Documentation: Accurately log arrival and departure times, vehicle IDs, and other required data

    • Site Upkeep: Maintain a clean and professional appearance around the gate area

    • Fire Mitigation & Groundskeeping: Use a weed eater and other hand tools to clear weeds and brush along public access and private dirt roads to ensure fire safety

    • Safety: Ensure the gate area remains clear of debris and report any site issues to management

    Available shifts:

    Shift timings - All Available

    Job requirements:

    • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

    • Driving Record: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

    • Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality. Since "Floater" shifts are on-call, reliability is critical

    • Physical Ability: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and capable of operating a weed eater/string trimmer

    • Basic Record Keeping: Ability to write clearly and maintain accurate logs

    • Communication: Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with drivers

    • Experience: No prior experience required; we will train the right person

    • Background check and Drug test required
