    Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Marine Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and inspection services on a wide range of boats and marine engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring that every boat performs at its best.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repair work on various marine engines and systems, including electrical, mechanical, and propulsion systems.

    Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

    Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of boats and engines to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

    Customer Service: Communicate with customers to explain repair needs, provide estimates, and offer recommendations for maintenance or upgrades.

    Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional findings.

    Compliance: Ensure that all work adheres to manufacturer specifications and industry regulations.

    Parts Management: Order and manage parts inventory as needed to perform repairs and maintenance efficiently.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and service staff to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.

    Qualifications:

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in marine technology or a related field is preferred.

    Experience: Proven experience as a marine technician or mechanic, with a strong understanding of marine engines and systems.

    Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment; excellent problem-solving abilities; strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

    Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Marine Mechanics Certification) are a plus.

    Passion: A keen interest in boating and marine technology is highly desirable.
