    Working location: Indianapolis, IN

    As a People Partner within Rolls-Royce you will play a critical role in supporting the People Strategy. The People Partner will be expected to manage relationships within the Defense business and will be responsible for delivering the people strategy as a member of the Defense People Partner Team. Elements of the people strategy include organization design and development, upskilling of leadership and functional capabilities, effective Talent and Succession management, and ensuring effective Performance Enablement.

    What you will be doing

    With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

    • Partnering the leadership team in mobilizing the people strategy and driving the business plan, bringing the latest people and organizational development insights.
    • Act as a trusted coach to the leadership team in handling sensitive or complex people issues, equipping them with the right skills and behaviors to lead their teams, including meeting Rolls-Royce leadership expectations.
    • Support business problems from an organization development perspective, using data and tools to identify the levers which will maximize organizational performance.
    • Develop effective talent and capability development plans to deliver strategic workforce plans and build an environment that supports our people to be at their best.
    • Manage local employee relations issues, including investigations and performance management plans.
    • Deliver resourcing plans to meet business commitments.
    • Working collaboratively with our broad people team network including our Global People Services team.

    Basic Requirements:

    • Associate's degree in 7+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources, OR
    • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources, OR
    • Master's degree with 3+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources, OR
    • JD/PhD, OR
    • 9+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in Human Resources in lieu of a degree
    • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Business or Human Resources
    • Experience using Organization Development to enhance performance
    • Experience of operating within an HR Shared Service delivery model
    • Workday experience
    • Experience managing employee relations cases, talent development and enabling culture change
    • Experience working with a global team and / or in a highly matrixed environment
