The HOA is currently seeking qualified candidates for Gate Access Security Officer positions in Sanford, North Carolina.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
- Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
- Shifts: All days and shifts available, including weekends, evenings, and overnight assignments
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) required
- Prior security experience required
- Experience in HOA communities, residential security, gate access control, or similar environments strongly preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to monitor and control community access points while maintaining a professional presence
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Essential Duties
- Control and monitor access through community gates
- Verify resident, guest, vendor, and contractor access
- Maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
- Observe and report suspicious activity or security concerns
- Follow all HOA policies, site procedures, and post orders
Preferred Experience
- HOA security
- Residential community security
- Gatehouse or access control operations
- Visitor management systems
- Customer-facing security assignments
