    Security Officer-PM Shift

    Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Security team as Security Officer-PM Shift. The Security Officer is a vital member of our Security team who is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for theemployees and in which guests can relax and/or conduct business. This role actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

    What you will do:

    • Assist hotel team with responsibility to ensure the protection of guests, patrons and associates; their property, hotel property, building and grounds.
    • Enforce hotel rules, regulations and policies as well as the departments rules, policies and standards.
    • Promote safety awareness and enforcement throughout the hotel to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required.
    • Respond to all emergency calls including Emergency Response team calls.
    • Patrol building noting and correcting safety, security, and fire hazards. Able walk/run upstairs carrying a fire extinguisher.
    • Share duties in Operations Center with emergency and department phone monitoring, closed circuit television monitoring, alarm monitoring, vendor/solicitor/visitor access, and key control.
    • Assist with Worker's Compensation, complete reports, and maintain a health and safety log.
    • Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations. Maintain report records, assist and follow-up on investigations, and approve reports and logs.
    • Promote loss prevention through training and awareness throughout the building to reduce claims.

    What you bring:

    • At least 2 years of security detail experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
    • Compliance with our Grooming Standards
    • CPR and First-Aid certification
    • Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office Suite, and HotSOS preferred/is a plus
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that requires professionalism and the ability to exercise discretion with privileged information
    • Ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
    • Valid U.S. work authorization documents
