As a Gate Keeper for our Denver District, you will contribute to our team by:
Reporting to work on time, ready to work safely and learn
Assists project superintendent where needed
Actively takes direction & ask questions to ensure tasks are understood
Cleans and prepares construction sites as needed
Manage site access by verifying that all trucks entering the site display a company logo and that all individuals have proper identification badges, with the exception of authorized inspectors and delivery drivers.
Scan and track badges for all personnel entering the site, excluding inspectors and delivery drivers, to maintain accurate access records.
Coordinate with foremen when delivery drivers arrive by confirming the appropriate drop off location, providing directions using the site map, and communicating any site hazards that may impact their route.
Notify the appropriate foreman when inspectors arrive and ensure they are informed of their destination, provided site directions, and made aware of any relevant hazards.
Orient new drivers upon arrival by communicating site speed limits and confirming required personal protective equipment is in use.
Operate site access points by opening and closing gates as needed, including coordinating access for vendors such as sanitation services.
Secure the site at the end of the day by closing gates at the designated time, or as directed by site leadership, locking the trailer, and ensuring all windows are closed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the guard shack and surrounding area, including returning equipment to the trailer daily, completing weekly trailer cleaning, and removing trash from the gate, trailer, and ramp areas.

Must be 18 years of age or older
Knowledge and use of hand and power tools
High regard for safety and pride for quality of work
Self-motivated and a team player
Able to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as needed
Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks
Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment
Must have reliable transportation
Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head.
Should be able to navigate through the worksite on a daily basis
Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Previous flagging experience preferred.
The salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. We anticipate this requisition will be open for a minimum of five days, though it may be open for a longer period of time. We encourage your prompt application.
