Summary
Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational setting.; Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, local authorities, and/or campus contacts when appropriate.; Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.; Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence.; Document incidents, daily activities, and/or observed conditions in required reports, and assist with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs across the location.
